A value-based system where healthcare providers are accountable for outcomes will benefit patients

This post discusses the movement away from fee for service models in healthcare, towards value-based care in countries such as Singapore.

In Asia, some health systems are increasingly looking towards value-based care as an option. CESR’s Joanne Yoong wrote an op-ed on this issue, which discusses the movement towards value-based care in countries such as Singapore, where existing high performance is no longer a guarantee of future sustainability.
