Journey from Psychology to Genoeconomics

Genoeconomics is a new field that focuses on incorporating genomic data in economic research. As genomic data becomes widely available and dramatically less expensive to collect, genoeconomics seems poised to become a large and influential area of research.

In this interview, I explain how I got involved in behavioral economics and then in genoeconomics. I also offer my views on whether graduate students should get involved in genoeconomics, what skills are critical, and what the current frontiers are.
